Yaguchi Karate

Sensei Yutaka Yaguchi is a 9th dan (9th degree black belt). He lives in Lakewood, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. His dojo, the JKA of Colorado, is close to downtown Denver. It is a small place with a long, narrow training floor.

Catherine Pinch is a 6th degree black belt, having trained in Shotokan Karate for about 27 years, and about 24 of those as Sensei Yaguchi’s student. She is a three-time national champion, and toured on the ISKF national team for five years.
